These tables were created faithfully from the
"Organization" section of the appropriate Tables of Organization and Equipment
(T/O&Es) (including revisions made from the associated published Changes to
the T/O&Es). All major items of ordnance, transportation, communication,
and other specialties have been listed. In many instances revisions have been
made to the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) Specification Serial No.s
(SSNs) as directed by War Department Technical Manual, TM 12-427, "Military
Occupational Classification of Enlisted Personnel", dated 12 July 1944.
- T/O&E 2-25 Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron, Mechanized (15
September 1943) Notes: One squadron was assigned to each Armored Division.
Usually two of these squadrons were attached to each Cavalry Group, Mechanized,
which in turn was usually attached to a Corps.

(13 March 1944) Notes: One Engineer Combat Battalion was assigned to each
Infantry Division. Also, two to five (normally three) Engineer Combat

These tables were created faithfully from German Army
(Heer) Kriegsstarkenachweisung (abbreviated K.st.N), which were the equivalent
of the U.S. Army Tables of Organization. These K.st.N have been translated into
English, use U.S. Army terminology, and are presented in the same format as
U.S. Army T/Os.
